Valentine’s Day means many things to different people, and every one of them loves to celebrate the day in style at various places around the world.

Moc Chau Highlands

This place in Vietnam is nothing short of magical during the month of February as the cherry blossoms are in bloom just in time to sway in the wind as you take a walk down the path with your loved one.

Phang Nga Bay

Many top vacation destinations may come and go, but according to most local travel guides and blogs the likes of The Vacation Gateway, this place is romantic throughout the year. Take a cruise and look at the endless blues and clear waters below. If your idea of romance has a bit of adventure in it, you can always go diving too.

Ho Chi Minh City

This city in Vietnam has everything you’d ever want to spend a romantic vacation in. The elite restaurants and sky lounges of Ho Chi Minh City are infinite and you have a great variety of places to choose from, for that ultimate romantic night out.

Bagan, Myanmar

Myanmar is more of a mysteriously romantic vacation spot. If you are a couple who loves exploring and experiencing new cultures together, this is the place to be in.

Thailand has a bounty of beautiful places ideal for romantic excursions, making it difficult to choose between them. Here are, however, four of the finest locales.

Koh Lipe

This beautiful island is affectionately referred to as the ‘Maldives of Thailand’, because of its lush tropical splendour. The island’s beauty is no surprise since it is situated along the border of Tarutao National Park. The surrounding waters are home to a quarter of the world’s tropical fish.

Koh Phi Phi

Not only is this one of the most spectacular landscapes Thailand has to offer, but also a national hallmark. It was famously featured in The Beach starring Leonardo Di Caprio.

Koh Samui

This is the second largest of Thailand’s islands, and one of the most tourist-oriented. There’s no shortage of romance here, since wedding venues in Koh Samui are plentiful, as well as luxury resorts such as Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort.

Koh Lanta

This is part of an archipelago that features 52 islands and offers a bounty of experiences. At the very least, there are several beaches, a selection of kaleidoscopic coral reefs, and serene seclusion far from the ‘party islands’ of Thailand. If you’re looking for a place where you and your partner can share a tranquil and exciting tropical adventure, then Koh Lanta is definitely a place worthy of consideration.
